FAQ

Q. Can I book a trial for my child?

A. Yes absolutely! You can book a single trial class for your child via our booking system. Trials can be booked at any time provided there are spaces available in the class.

Q. How do bookings work?

A. Bookings are done in monthly blocks for our children's classes. Once you have attended your trial, you will receive an email inviting you to book for the remainder of the month.

Q. Do you run PAYG sessions

A. You can book your first session individually but after this we only do monthly block bookings. This is because the demand for spaces in our classes are high and we have to ensure children can retain their space for the duration of the month.

Q. Do you run during the school holidays?

A. Our regular weekly classes do NOT run during the school holidays and these are not included within your monthly block payments. We do run workshops during the school holidays but these can be booked separately to suit individual availability. The school holiday workshops area also open to children who do not usually attend our regular classes.

Q. Which classes do you run and which should my child start with?

A. Some of our classes have age restrictions, however we find that with most children it genuinely comes down to personal preference.

Our children's disciplines are listed below - you can click on each name to read more about each one and view class information;

- Aerial Hoop

- Trapeze

- Aerial Sling

- Acro and Cheerleading.

We allow you to book trials on each class if you wish so your child can decide which they prefer.

Q. What other opportunities will my child have from attending classes?

A. While we don't offer exams in our activities, we do have many opportunities for the children to gain experience in performing. We regularly attend community events with our portable equipment to do displays, as well as running 2 in house showcases per year that children can take part in. There are also a number of regional and national aerial performance competitions that children can work towards if they wish - we have had a number of our students go on to win national titles!

For children who are interested in performance opportunities once they have gained some basic aerial skills, we have our Performance Team who currently train on Wed evenings that they can join.

At the same time children are NOT pressured to take part in these activities if they prefer not to, and we fully support those who wish to just attend classes for recreational purposes and for fun/social reasons.

Q. Do you have any support for children with SEN

A. Yes we do. Our children's instructors are all experienced in working with children with additional needs and we are very passionate about making sure our studio is accessible to anyone who wishes to attend.

We also have a support program currently in development to support Neurodivergent young people to access our classes. We encourage parents to email us to discuss your child's needs and we will work together to create a support plan for your child.

Q. Can I stay and watch my child's class?

A. Yes you can. As part of our safeguarding policy we will always permit parents to watch their child's class if the wish, to ensure transparency over our teaching practices and so that parents can provide emotional support to their child if they are anxious or have additional needs. We even have a lovely viewing area with comfy sofa's for you to watch from! Only immediate family members are permitted to watch. Children can also be dropped off and left with us if preferred. All staff are fully qualified and hold enhanced DBS.
